Jesus The Love of God In Action
"He who has seen Me has seen the Father," said Jesus to Philip. What a Statement! Many People want to know God, and yet the simplest way to know the Father is through His Son. He was and is the express image of the Love of God in action. For every healing and every new born that comes into His kingdom it all came about because, this God-Man Jesus Christ took on Flesh and became the will of God on the earth. His very heart beat was love nothing motivated Him More than that. When Jesus uttered those words to Philip He exposed the heart of God Like never before. Never before was there a man such as Jesus Christ who came and gave His all and expressed the Glory of God Like Him.
John 14:8-10 Philip said to Him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us. Jesus said to him, Have I been with you such a long time and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father. And how do you say, Show us the Father? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in Me? The Words that I speak to you I do not speak of Myself, but the Father who dwells in Me, He does the works.
Jesus was actually answering the question posed by Thomas in John 14:5. But, in this we can see the very nature of the Father in action through Jesus Christ. These truths are iron clad guarantee we can come into a fellowship with the Son that will bring us into a position to receive from Father. In fact this has already happened, it is an accomplished fact in the mind of God that we have access to Him through Jesus Christ at any time.
Jesus statement in John 14:10 The Words that I speak to you I do not speak of Myself, but the Father who dwells in Me, He does the works. The father's will and Jesus were so in tune that He acted only out of what that will was. The Father wanted us back to himself. His plan was to prove that and accomplish it forever through His son. All that was lost and all that sin took away through the fall He wanted returned. In the beginning there was no sickness, no depression, no despair or anguish. All these took their place when Adam sold the rights over in the beginning and the curse operated throughout the earth and men.
Reconciliation and Restoration comes about in peoples lives when they have enough truth operating in them to act on it being mixed with faith to bring about a change. You may be reconciled to God now but, if you do not know how far that truth goes how much of it can you act on? Or the other on the other hand you may have experienced the restoration power of God in you health but your still poor.
John 14:5-7 Thomas said to Him, Lord, we do not know where You go, and how
can we know the way? Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the
Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me. If you had known Me, you would
have known My Father also. And from now on you know Him and have seen Him.
1Jn 1:3 that which we have seen and heard we declare unto you, so that you
also may have fellowship with us. And truly our fellowship is with the Father
and with His Son Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today and forever. He is still that love in action today.
Because we can know Him Jesus and the Father we can operate in His family. Taping into Gods fullness and seeing His love in action today can only be accomplished one way. What is it? Staying in His presence and fellowshipping with His son this is what brings the reality of John 14:7 to life in us. Then letting the Holy Spirit stand up in you and declare those truths until they become a reality in you.
