HEALING BELONGS TO YOU
Since we are teaching on the subject of healing we will need to establish a few things before we get into the meat of this subject. First off we must establish that it is the will of God to heal you. It is sometimes hard for us to believe beyond the revealed will of God, but Gods will is not a mystery. Gods will is in His word. Even though many have heard this message the seed needs to be watered. The understanding of healing has to come from the inside; you have to grab hold of the truth, believe it then act on it. In fact I believe those who are in need of healing can receive healing right now where they are at. Faith may have to be built in to you a little by the word. For faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Isa
53:1-7 Who has believed our report? And to whom is the arm of Jehovah
revealed?
For He comes up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground;
He has no form nor majesty that we should see Him, nor an appearance that we
should desire Him. He is despised and rejected of men; a Man of sorrows, and
acquainted with grief; and as it were a hiding of faces from Him, He being
despised, and we esteemed Him not.
Surely He has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him
stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our
transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace
was on Him; and with His stripes we ourselves are healed. All we like sheep have
gone astray; we have turned, each one to his own way; and Jehovah has laid on
Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and He was afflicted; yet He
opened not His mouth. He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a sheep
before its shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth.
GRACE
For many to receive what has been accomplished eternally for them according to the scriptures in redemption we need to cover a few topics. The first will be grace. By definition, grace is the unmerited love and favor bestowed on the believer’s life by God the Father. We could not earn it, we do not deserve but by an act of love, all we have to do is receive. Grace will inspire works but works are never a substitution for the faith that moves toward God by the agency of grace. Many times the sick will plea bargain with God as if He has legally tried them and now they have to bargain their healing rights. They may think the sickness is in their body because a horrible act of the past or what they did last week. This is not the truth in fact religion has painted the picture of God punishing or trying to teach people through sickness and disease. Sickness was released through the curse and is one of the many things we as believers are delivered from today. Deuteronomy 27-28 deal with the curse of the law and the other curse is in Genesis in the garden Genesis chapter 3. This does not mean that we have a license to sin because we have received grace, nor does it nullify good works. What grace does is gives you the reason and the time you need to overcome what is in your life. In that you never earned it or deserved but it was given to you out of the love of the Father and manifest in Jesus Christ himself. What violates grace ? The biggest violation of grace is unforgiveness or a cold stony heart towards people. This also includes a judgmental attitude. If you have so freely received and God did not hold you in judgment or unforgiveness then to do so to another individual or the body of Christ puts on shaky ground. This violates the very nature of God in 1 Corinthians 10 Paul deals with this subject in communion. So if you have these in your heart toward people it would benefit you to release them of their debt and forgive them and not judge. Confess out loud with your mouth, I release all those Father I was holding in unforgiveness and judgment. Right now I forgive them and release them. The enemy has no dominion in my life. I ask you to forgive me and restore that heart of love.” You always have love in you if you are born again because you have the nature of God in you. Now whether or not you choose to let that love dominate you is a choice of your will.
Grace calls you healed when your past accuses you. Grace calls you forgiven when you won’t forgive your self. Grace calls you to a deeper fellowship with God when you do not want to. Jesus by the agency of the Holy Spirit will try to get you to fellowship more intently with Him to birth these understandings in you. When you come into His presence, He will minister to you out of His love toward you and give you what you need to live and be free from sickness. Grace gives you a standing with Him that in the natural you may not have. He will where He can and where He is allowed go in after the root of your problem and give you what you need to come out a testimony. He does this by giving you His word on the subject all you have to do is receive it and meditate on what is already yours. As your faith grows the sickness will fall off.
